How to Contribute to the ISA Space

The Income Share Agreement (ISA) industry is constantly evolving and growing. As a result, there are an increasing number of opportunities to get involved in the space. Below I have listed a few of the many ways in which you can meaningfully contribute to the ISA space.

Learn about education financing

Knowing about the history of education finance in the U.S. can be useful when you are working in this space. Right now, most activity around ISAs has occurred within the education space, so I recommend you read up on how education finance currently workers, and why ISAs are a more favorable alternative.

I have also published a starter’s guide to ISAs if you are looking to learn more about the agreements themselves. The Life Capital Conference is also a good place to learn more about ISAs.

Publish research

Write articles or research papers on ISAs and share your findings about the agreements. Learn more about the space by participating in online discussions or by reading resources about the space.

Join a company

More companies are starting to offer ISAs. Joining a company that is in the process of offering ISAs or are already doing so is a good way to get involved in the space. You can find my list of ISA companies here, many of which are currently hiring.

Start a company

There are still many things to be explored in the ISA space, and there are dozens of ideas going around regarding ISAs. If you want to make a real difference in the space, starting a company could be a good idea.

Send me an email at jamesg@jamesg.app if you are interested in ISAs and I would be happy to chat!
